TP SALES UPDATE March 14th, 2020

STLB and CCD will begin selling toilet paper and other supplies to the general public on Monday March 16th 10 am – 7pm, at CCD located at 210 McBride Lane. Subsequent days hours starting Tuesday March 17th will be from 8am – 7pm. Cash or Credit Only.

If a case of TP is too much for your household needs, please consider sharing the cost with other family and friends.

THERE WILL BE A LIMIT OF 2 CASES OF TOILET PAPER. 
Additional limitation may be applied. Items are not for resell.

 STLB and CCD Make TP Available to the Community

 South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind (STLB) and its subsidiary, Corpus Christi Distributors (CCD), are happy to announce that we will make toilet paper and other items available for purchase by the general public. On Monday, March 16th beginning at 10AM, residents and local businesses can purchase cases of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, hand soap, paper towels and bleach.

Cases of toilet paper will range from $29 to $70 plus tax, depending on type and quantity per case.  Greater Good toilet paper is manufactured by employees who are blind at STLB, and the hand sanitizer is produced by employees who are blind at Austin Lighthouse for the Blind. 

Items will be sold on a first-come, first served basis and are available while supplies last. Limitations may apply and purchases can be made with cash or credit card only.  Initial sales will begin on Monday, March 16th at 10:00 am at CCD, located at 210 McBride Lane, next to H-E-B Bakery.  Hours of Operation as of Tuesday, March 17th will be 8am till 7pm.  Items will be purchased in the “City Sales” storefront.

“We greatly appreciate the efforts by South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind and CC Distributors to make toilet paper, hand sanitizer, hand soap, and other items available for our local residents and businesses to purchase in this time of need,” said State Representative Todd Hunter. “We are pleased that we are able to help our community obtain these supplies in light of the Corona virus threat,” said Alana Manrow, spokesperson for STLB.
