POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources (HR) Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the HR department, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of various HR processes and activities. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate employee records. The HR Associate also plays a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and organizational policies.
PRINICIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
2. Support onboarding efforts by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and facilitating smooth integration into the company.
3. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal standards.
4. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee welfare initiatives.
5. Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance workplace efficiency and culture.
7. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, trainings, and professional development programs.
8. Ensure compliance with labor laws, including maintaining required postings, managing FMLA/ADA requests, and monitoring workplace safety standards.
9. Other Duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2. 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role, ideally in a corporate or administrative environment.
3. Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and employment law.
4. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Must have valid Texas Drivers License and proof of insurance.
