Under the direct supervision of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor who performs a variety of accounting and administrative duties for assigned accounts.  Experienced in various areas of accounting and uses a certain degree of creativity and latitude in an effort to complete the daily requirements.


  1. Maintains internal accounting and electronic control procedures for receipts and collections: posts payments, maintains customer accounts, and mails/emails statements to customers via fax/email confirmation and/or acknowledgements, as required by customers
  2. Verifies and reviews bank ACH, lock box, and electronic receipts received
  3. Reconciles merchant statements for all company accounts and locations
  4. Reviews, set-up and maintains customer accounts
  5. Process credit applications and runs credit reports for new accounts
  6. Process credit card transactions / purchases internally as needed
  7. Monitors AR aging report to identify accounts that are past due and minimize the number of accounts that have payments due beyond 90 days
  8. Collections: Creates / reviews monthly customer statements
  9. Able to utilize work time in such a manner as to be beneficial to the company
  10. Able to increase productivity output as work flow requires it
  11. Assists in GL coding for invoice batches (as needed)
  12. Performs other job duties, as assigned


  1. High School graduate or equivalent
  2. Must be proficient using MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  3. Clerical experience dealing with customers, payments, invoices,  word processing and electronic filing
  4. Some understanding of reconciling and aging of accounts receivables
  5. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in checking information and filing
  6. Must have excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  7. 10-key by touch
  8. Lift up to ten (10) pounds
  9. Current state drivers license and proof of insurability
