POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the established storage plan. Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing for shipment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies/ damages
2. Routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
3. Inventory stowed materials, issuing materials from location, packing materials for shipment
4. Load and unload trucks as required
5. Utilizes company vehicle to make deliveries, pick ups etc.
6. Maintain data for monthly report
7. Other duties as assigned
