South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind operates two manufacturing facilities – one in Corpus Christi, Texas and the other in Victoria, Texas.  At these plants, employees manufacture, package and distribute a wide array of products including a full line of three-ring binders, mousepads, wrist pads, index tabs, plastic corrugated mail trays, and candles.  Our manufacturing equipment has been modified so that persons with vision loss can operate the machinery safely and efficiently.  In our binder department alone, we manufacture up to 300,000 binders a month.

Full line of three-ring binders:  350 varieties of binders include your choice of 12 colors, D or round rings, pockets, plastic overlay, and sizes from 1/2” to 4”

Index Tabs:  Choose from multi-colored tabs for A-Z, 1-10, 1-12, 1-31, and January – December.  The January – December tabs are also available with clear tabs.

Candles: Selection includes votives, pillars, and jar candles in 9 different scents.  Our Christmas votive candles are available in white (Snowflake scent), red (Hollyberry scent), and green (Evergreen scent).

Mousepads/Wrist pads: Choose from red, blue, black or gray.  Mousepads can also include your own personal design or logo.

Corrugated Plastic Mail Trays:  Available in ½ mm or full size.

Printed Envelopes:  We will print your company’s return address/logo in a single color on envelopes or mailers.  Sixty different sizes available.

Sandbags: Available in Poly or Burlap

Endura-Plenish:  Electrolyte replacement drink mix in three great sugar-free flavors – fruit punch, lemon-lime, and orange.  Package makes 2 ½ - 3 gallons, depending on desired taste.

MasterLocks:  Locks available for everything from school lockers to barn doors.

Gloves:  Flyer’s Gloves, Mechanic’s Gloves, Safety Gloves, and a full line of cut-resistant gloves.

Plastic Corrugated Cable Spools: Perfect for fiber optic wire and various other types of cable.
